Here is a 5-minute video recorded at the DigCurV Final Conference which took place on the 6th and 7th of May 2013 in Florence, Italy, in which several academic and research professionals in the fields of curation and preservation of digital objects (such as databases, photos, videos, websites, etc) share their views on what exactly is digital curation, and why it matters. DigCurV is a project funded by the European Commission under the Lifelong Learning Programme to develop a curriculum framework for training in Digital Curation.
