This article is very important because it effected so many people! Not only the people that purchased items from target, but anyone who has ever had any contact information in the Target system. This has had a major impact on the business and the trust in their security system since the breach.People are definitely watching where they're spending their money.

Security industry experts have been warning for quite some while that privileged user accounts are a top target for hackers and this form of intrusion is becoming increasingly common in targeted attacks.

Are these hackers students trying to get test information or do you think this is a more professional job?

===> We hear a lot about mobile apps and devices being hacked, however as I have stated before that is small potatoes when compared to the treasure trove of the back-end systems that power mobile applications and services. <===

going up the network, identify the bottle neck and get at it - pretty simple, but they probably had to sweat a little to do it.

It is pretty clear that iCloud has become a threat to most Apple users due to the recent "Celebrity nudes" scandal. I strongly believe that you shouldn't be worried about people being able to get a hold of photographs and videos of personal moments, such as family dinners and Christmas parties. This incident really makes you wonder just how easy it is to hack in to Apple's software systems, and how much Apple's developers have seen of our personal lives. Scandals such as thing will keep things talking, but will Apple release a statement regarding everything that has happened?

While Apple claimed that the site's information was encrypted, and thus unable to be accessed, the company could not rule out that developer names, mailing addresses, or email addresses were not accessed during the incident.
