SHC Cinco de Mayo Fair

Listos para SHC's inocente Cinco de Mayo? The Sacred Heart College Student Council is having a post Cinco de Mayo celebration the Friday from 6 to 10pm. They'll have tons of food and smoothies and non-alcoholic beverages, along with fun and games. Many local vendors will be in attendance.

Crazy Tails Cinco de Mayo Fundraiser

Crazy Tails Cat Kingdom is having a Cinco de Mayo fundraiser at Remo's on Sunday the 5th. Taco platters will be $10, as will margaritas, and they'll have another great silent auction.

Cinco de Mayo Celebration

The SISE Town Council is planning Cayo's 2nd annual Cinco de Mayo celebration, and this year, it'll carry over to Sabado, seis de Mayo. They'll have live music along with tons of food and drinks. The celebration will happen on Burns avenue, and it'll go from 7pm to midnight on both nights.

''Ladies and Gentlemen, prepare yourselves for a surge of Vitamin T in your diet this May 5th... Vitamin, Tacos, Tortillas, Tostadas, Tamales, Tequila, Tortas etc etc...'

Cayo Corn Fest 2022

The SISE's Cinco de Maya celebration on Burns avenue will be Friday and Saturday, May 3rd and 4th. They have a ton of awesome vendors lined up, including Sparrow’s Cocktails, Ang the Bartender, Papa Churros, Jairo's Pizza, The smoothie shack, Spicy Blessing, A taste of our Jewel, and many more. DJ Iconic will be mixing the hits.

'This is the second time that Cinco de Mayo is being celebrated in San Ignacio, but this time the event attracted a very large crowd and many food vendors and all sorts of drinks spots along Burns Avenue. It was so good to see families with their children enjoying themselves. Cinco de Mayo, or the fifth of May, is a holiday in Mexico and the United States that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s May 5, 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. It is also known as Battle of Puebla Day.'

CAWS 3rd Annual Cinco De Mayo

The Cayo Animal Welfare Society is having their 3rd annual Jefe de la Cocina Cook-off. It'll be on Saturday, May 4th, at Remo's, and it starts at 3:00pm. They'll have a silent auction to go with the delicious food. If you want to enter the contest, let CAWS know.

"$12 at the door and come enjoy and vote the food entries for this years Cayo's Jefe de La Cocina this Cinco De Mayo! Remo's will be selling drinks through out the day.
