Mr. Greedy's has a new menu out, and not have the prices gone down, but they've added some new items to it. They now have pizzas starting at $12.50, and slices starting at $3.50. They also have a new Buffalo Burger and boneless wings, and have brought back their cheesy bread sticks. Mr. Greedy's which brought the happy hour to downtown, still celebrates it from 4:00 to 7:00pm every day.

Happy Independence Day! Last night in Cayo was supreme! Live Music Fridays at Mr. Greedy's always draws a crowd, and the Cayo Welcome Center had Grupo Jade play through the night. The fireworks were amazingly well done.
"Downtown Cayo was packed with happy party goers, who all came out for some great music, happy hour priced drinks(Mr. Greedy's), and fireworks. Mr. Greedy's Pizzeria had Emmanuel Mangar for their Live Music Friday, and Fuego Bar & Grill Belize brought in Grupo Jade for their Music in the Park at the Cayo Welcome Center. There's a new restaurant there called D Catch, and they have great drinks and ceviche."

Happy Independence Eve! There's a lot going on in Cayo this weekend. Parades, music, dinner specials, motorcades, and fireworks. The special September Celebration edition of Music in the Park was spectacular. A big thanks to the BTB and Fuego Bar and Grill for making this happen! Have a great holiday weekend!

Express Oh! had their first Sunday Show day, and it was a huge success. They had food, coffee, entertainment, face painting, and much more. Emmanuel Mangar played, with Jose Barrera backing him up on drums. Dania Arana also sang. Hopefully, this will be a monthly event.

Tonight the La Ixtabai restaurant at Cahal Pech is debuting the new menu. The festivities start at 6:00pm. Emmanual Mangar will be setting the mood with some jazz and blues. There will be free rum punch for all parties of 4 or more.

The Tribute for Hick, Ervin Gordon, local bass player, was Sunday night at the Cayo Welcome Center, and quite a few musicians, including the World Culture Band, Emmanuel Mangar, and Eddie Allen, came out to play some songs in his memory. RIP, Mr. Gordon.

The Soul Project has been rocking with their Open Mic nights this Summer. There's been some great live music and poetry slams there. Gerardo, Levi, Haley, Quick, Mike, Walter, and many more show up regularly to jam out. This month, guitarist and song writer Keren Bein played there twice.

The Cornerstone Foundation had their Feed the Children Fashion Show last night at the Octavia Waight Centre's auditorium. Looks like it was a great success, as proved by D Russell Photography's great shots. Emmanuel Mangar is in, and he got by with a little help from his friends.

The SISE House of Culture teamed up with the Cayo branch of the Belize Cancer Society teamed up Saturday to bring out Lucio and the New Generation to play at the Cayo Welcome Center. D Catch will be having their grand opening tonight, and they''ll have Emmanuel Mangar for your listening pleasure. D Catch has amazing ceviches and some nice drinks. Last night, at the Cayo Welcome Center, downtown was treated to one of the best concerts of the year when the World Culture Band teamed up with Emmanuel Mangar. The music was nothing short of superb. Let's hope this becomes a weekly event. Fuego Bar and Grill deserves a big round of applause too for sponsoring the event.

The rain might have stopped the Caribbean Coolers Pool Party, and the Queen of the West presentation, along with In Bloom, but Emmanuel Mangar is going to play tonight at the Cayo Welcome Center, come full moon or clouded sky. The World Culture Band will be playing with him for this promotional concert in support of his being one of the finalists on the Be the Next Superstar.

Cayo's downtown is jumping on weekends. The Burns avenue pedestrian walkway has a little bit of everything. Food, and arts galore, and even a massage chair set up. Emmanuel Mangar tops the list at Mr. Greedy's Live Music Fridays. The new Fuego Bar and Grill is regularly packed with people enjoying their great appetizers, strong drinks, and unique entrees.
"Who says it's slow season? On the 12th of July, downtown Cayo was packed, and Burns avenue was happening. Arts, crafts, massages, drumming, live music from Emmanuel Mangar. Awesome!"
