The Benque House of Culture had their Noche de Cuenta Cuentos.

"Many of our community members shared their frightening experiences when they encountered many creatures, 'La Ixtabai', 'EL Duende'... Thank you all for making our Finados 2013 a very excited and educational and most for keeping it alive."

La Ixtabai, the restaurant at Cahal Pech Village, is having a launch party for their new menu this Friday, August 30th, starting a 6:00pm.  They'll have Emmanuel Mangar playing there.  Cayo is getting more great food.

Tonight the La Ixtabai restaurant at Cahal Pech is debuting the new menu.  The festivities start at 6:00pm.  Emmanual Mangar will be setting the mood with some jazz and blues.  There will be free rum punch for all parties of 4 or more.
