The Rotaractors from Cayo participated in this year's Walk for a Green Belize this morning.  It was a country-wide effort, and the statistics on how much trash was cleaned up should be out soon.  Thanks, Rotaractors!

"Rotaractors participated this morning Saturday, April 25th, 2015 in a clean-up campaign In commemoration of Earth Day 2015 together with Oceana Members and The Department of Environment.  The clean-up campaign consisted of the entire George Price Highway and Macal River in San Ignacio.  Thanks to all the amazing people who came out to inspire others and make a difference."

The Rotaract Club of San Ignacio is hosting this year's Intercitidina, where Rotaractors from all around Latin America are invited, at the end of the month.  They exchange ideas, have team building events, have a fundraising dinner, and even do a community service project.  If you are interested in joining Rotaract, they have their meeting's every Friday night at Hode's starting at 7:30pm. 

In related news, they are having a Bingo Sunday tomorrow night at Hode's at 6:30pm.

Roots Wraps and Smoothies is having their grand opening on Saturday, November 2nd.  After a long Halloween Block Party on Burns, and a few hours of sleep, a smoothie will pick you back up, and get you ready for the Rotaract Haunted House at Hode's.  They deliver wraps and smoothies all around Cayo for lunch, and the menu is on their page.  They are located at 38 West street.  Have a great grand opening.

Rotaract is bringing their Bingo Sundays back.  They'll be having the next one this Sunday, at Hode's Place, starting at 6:30pm.  Good luck!

Rotaract is having their Rave at the Grave fundraiser next Saturday, July 27th, at Meluchi's.  Proceeds will go towards their Adopt a Child program, where they help send kids to primary school.  D!rty Jok3s and Mistah Geeh will be providing the eclectic music through the night, and you'll be amazed when you see D!rty Jok3s perform live.

"We are raising funds to assist children in Yalbac Village by paying for their school fees, and providing them with school bags, and school utensils for the new school year.  SEND AN ENTIRE VILLAGE TO SCHOOL!"

The Rotaract Club of Benque is in the middle of their 2nd annual Fill-a-Backpack school supply drive.  They are collecting school supplies of all kinds, even supplies for the teachers.  If you can help in any way, contact them at 623-7740.  Thanks, Rotaract!

Feelgood news of the day.  The Rotaract Club of San Ignacio continued their Adopt a Village campaign, and paid tuition and donated school bags to the students of the Yalbac village.  Thanks, Rotaract! 

"On August 31st, 2014 Rotaract Club San Ignacio delivered backpacks and paid tuition for the students of Yalbac Village. It was a rewarding and life-changing experience."

Rotaract is having their Christmas Toy Drive and raffle today at Hode's.  They festivities start at 2:00pm, and the raffle is at 4:00.

Rotaract is having their 5th annual Toy Drive over the next month.  The big night is Saturday, December 21st, at Hode's.  They'll be putting drop-off boxes around, so if you want one, or can donate in any way, let them know.  Thanks, Rotaract!

Rotaract is bringing back their haunted house this year, and it'll be on Saturday, November 2nd.  The festivities will once again be at Hode's, and will begin after the sun goes down.  There will also be a costume competition.

Rotaract announced the winners of their See Clean See Green art competition last night at the Cayo Welcome Center.  They also had a bake sale fundraiser.  This morning, they did their Clean Up Campaign along the Macal river.

"The Rotaract Club San Ignacio had their See Green See Clean art contest winners announced at the Cayo Welcome Center last night.  They also had a bake sale, and the pastries were delicious.  D Catch was happening, as always, and their combo ceviche, with octopus, shrimp, and conch, can't be beat."
