The 1st ever Cayo Jouvert will be on September 9th. It'll take place at Thirsty Thursdays, and goes from 10:00pm to 4:00am. DJ Mesmerize is teaming up with the SISE Town Council to make it a night to remember. DJ Iconic and DJ Wicked Vybz, along with many others, will mix the night away.

The date is set for the 2nd annual Calaz Summer Madness party. Saturday, May 11th, at the new Thirsty Thursdays. DJ Mesmerize will be mixing, as will the Cayo winners of the first two DJ Championships: DJ Iconic and Wicked Vybz. It's a day party, and is part of Music Month. They'll have specials, sports, and shots.

The DJ Championship auditions are coming to Cayo next week. They'll be at the Wing Stop Belmopan on Thursday, and on Saturday they'll be at Thirsty Thursdays here in Cayo. They have the list of rules for the 5 minute set on their page.

The Miss World Belize pageant is being held this Saturday, October 22nd, at the Log Cab-Inns, here in Cayo. The winner will represent Belize at the Miss World pageant in Washington D.C. in December. Panerrifix will be performing during the show. The after party is at Thirsty Thursdays, and there's a pool party on Sunday. Call 607-2954 for more information and tickets.

Thirsty Thursdays will soon have a club in Cayo. They are completely refurbishing the old Piache grounds across from the San Ignacio Resort Hotel. They hope to open in August. More pictures to come.
