The Sacred Heart Parish is having their annual Summer Fair on Sunday, June 15th, at the Sacred Heart Auditorium.  They'll have tons of fun for the kids, including face painting, a dunk tank, shows(including a concert), trampolines, and miniature golf.  There will be plenty of delicious food and drinks too.  It all starts at 3:00pm. 

The Western Ballaz signed their contracts last week, and have been practicing regularly.  They just announced that they'll be selling t-shirts for fans to wear to the games while cheering them on.  Don't forget that their first home game is on February 21st, at 9:00pm, at the SHC auditorium.

The Oasis of Blessing is tonight and tomorrow all day at the Octavia Waight Centre auditorium.  It starts at 6:00pm this evening.

Tonight is the Queen of the West pageant at the Octavia Waight auditorium.  Go see your favorite queen do her best.  Good luck to all!

The Queen of the West pageant is on Saturday, August 31st, at the Octavia Waight Centre auditorium.  They'll be presenting the contestants next Saturday, the 17th at the Princess Casino, and on the 24th at the Cayo Welcome Center. 

Sacred Heart College had their auditorium inauguration Tuesday night.  They had a few short speeches from Dr. Eve Aird and Julio Llinas, the building blessing from Father Leo Palma, a ribbon cutting, and some amazing BBQ from Running W Meats.  The high school will be having their graduation ceremony there this Saturday.  Congratulations, SHC, for a building well done!

Sacred Heart Junior College held their graduation ceremony for the class of 2013 yesterday.  It was in their, literally just finished, new auditorium, which was decorated beautifully for the occasion.  Maria Marin, the guest speaker, had a phenomenal speech for the graduates about goals, dreams, and ambition.  The students' speeches were also witty and imaginative.  Congratulations, SHJC graduates, and like Dr. Eve Aird said, 'it's not really goodbye, it's see you later.'

"SHJC had their graduation at their new auditorium.  It was the perfect venue, and the graduation ceremony went well.  The guest speaker, Ms. Maria Marin had an outstanding speech that will surely motivate the students as they go into the world to make a difference."

Sacred Heart College has completed the first 2 phases of their new auditorium, and it looks great.  They are asking for help with phase 3, and are doing a cement and steel drive.  If you can help in any way, please do.

Sacred Heart College's new auditorium was the setting yesterday for the My Body is Precious Girl Empowerment Tour, and it was a packed event as Mrs. Kim Simplis-Barrow and many others presented about female empowerment and motivation.

The Sacred Heart College auditorium now has a basketball court painted on it. Thanks, BECOL.  You can see the auditorium this weekend at the SHC Fair and Business Expo, which will be Friday and Saturday.

Assad Shoman gave a lecture today about the Belize and Guatemala relations at the University of Belize.

"Historian Assad Shoman (Author of 13 - A History of Belize in Thirteen Chapters) gave a brief lecture on the Belize - Guatemala Relations this morning at the UB Auditorium.  In attendance were teachers, students and members of the public and private sector."

In Bloom will be performing tonight at the Queen of the West presentation, which will be happening at the Cayo Welcome Center.  Note by Note will also be playing.  The Queen of the West pageant will be next Saturday, August 31st, at the Octavia Waight Centre's auditorium.

Derek Anderson will lead a motivational presentation entitled 'Stamina' tomorrow at the UB auditorium starting at 1:00pm. 

The Cornerstone Foundation had their Feed the Children Fashion Show last night at the Octavia Waight Centre's auditorium.  Looks like it was a great success, as proved by D Russell Photography's great shots.  Emmanuel Mangar is in, and he got by with a little help from his friends.

The Cornerstone Foundation is uploading pictures of their models for the 2013 Feed the Children Fashion Show which will be July 13th, at 6:00pm.  The venue this time is the Octavia Waight auditorium.  The fashion show is fundraiser for their feeding program.  Have a great time while supporting a great cause at the some time.

The Sacred Heart College auditorium has its inauguration tonight at 7:00pm, and everyone is invited for this landmark, long awaited event.  There will be refreshments.

"They worked day and night to finish the Sacred Heart College auditorium in time for the 6th form graduation.  It's huge, 200 feet by 100 feet, and will serve many functions for the Cayo community."

The Sacred Heart College auditorium is coming along nicely.  In the last 2 weeks, the progress has been astounding.
