The K-9 teams had their graduation yesterday. You've probably seen them practicing around Cayo, which is where they've been trained. Congratulations to all teams!
"Clean up campaigns, educational fairs, and award ceremonies, are all ways to beef up support for the officers. But all those services were eclipsed today by a graduation ceremony that had the participation of the C.E.O. of the Ministry of National Security, the Acting Commissioner of Police and representatives of the U.S. State Department. It was a graduation ceremony for the dogs and trainers of the K-9 unit. The level of training that the teams share is intended not only to sniff out drugs but the powder from ammunition used in crimes."
