The Cayo Welcome Center is almost finished. They've started planting in the flower beds, and are setting up the electric meters. The sidewalk arches are mostly in place now too. It should be done just in time to welcome all the visitors and tourists in high season. Great job renovationg downtown!

What are the chances that you're in a foreign country, and crash a party, and end up at the mayor's house? Nope don't believe it...wait...is that a picture of mayor August?!?!? For a funny read, and some crazy pictures, check out this link.
"Oh well, we'll just walk the girls home then, we thought. But what's this? Music pumping. Lights flashing. After struggling to find the entrance, there it was under a sign that read: "Fiesta Privado". As we peeked longingly through the railings and asked to enter, a lady replied: "Sorry, it's a private party." Mario's reply: "That's ok, we don't mind!". So... she let us in! Was it his casual assertiveness or the 4 chicas in his company that allowed this to happen? I guess we'll never know. But who cares? The end result was the same!"
