Investors in digital real estate are getting in fast and early to secure busy, high trafficked areas such as malls for eCommerce and public places like parks, marinas, and also large buildings that crowds will move through to do business. Online eCommerce will expand to possibly exceed physical, offline, bricks and mortar locations and total transactions.
Zuck says it's a project for the next ten years. I say that it's happening today. Right now. Facebook has a lot of competitors in the virtual reality or metaverse space.
